Some say Jay-Z’s net worth closer to $500 million but when you account for all the many sources of income he has it’s hard not to reasonably bump that figure closer to a solid $1 billion. Here are the facts:
Clothing: Jay sold Rocaware clothing, which he co-founded, for $204 million back in 2007. If Rocaware met certain performance milestones he could pull down an additional $35 million in Iconix (the buyer) stock.
Records: Every single album he’s ever released (over 15) have gone platinum.
